Happy Friday!

Here is a quick card I made last night.

It is my favorite fold.

 

As check out this fun Z fold card using this awesome DSP.

 

I used the

The card looks like this when standing up!

Look at the cute little marching ant!

So cute huh! 

 

I am so lovin' this fun dsp as it has endless possibilities when creating with it. 

 

Here are the supplies & measurements.

stamp set:  'Sweet Bugs' (words)

card stock:

• Crushed Curry- 4 1/4 x 11"- score at 2 3/4" & 5 1/2" & z fold for card base
• Old Olive- 3 3/4 x 5"
• Basic White- 3/4" strip- stamp words onto & fussy cut around them with scissors
• Basic White- 3 1/2 x 4 3/4"- for inside of card 

designer paper:  Cute As A Bug DSP-

• die cut Lilly Bell Flowers & add Wink of Stella to them
• Fussy cut Toadstools directly from DSP using scissors
• 3 1/2 x 3 1/2"- large green leaf/flower/grass print 
• 1 1/4 x 3 1/2"- small green leaf print along left edge 

ink:  Old Olive

Easter Joy Suite Collection bunny card

Oh my......here are a couple of CUTE bunny cards.

 

I used the 

#166954- Easter Joy Suite Collection= $92.00 Spring Mini pg. 23-37

 

Which card do you like better?

Flowers on top with blue egg- LEFT?

Plaid on top with green egg- RIGHT? 

How did I do it? 

This is just one piece of 3 3/4 x 5" DSP. 

NOTICE the pattern above!

That is how I cut the DSP.

Diagonally cut both ways from corner to corner as shown.

NOTE that I used a post it note to hold the first diagonal cut together 

so that I could cut the 2nd diagonal all at once too.

Then FLIP the 2 sides over- so that you show off BOTH sides of one piece of DSP! 

This little bunny is just adorable.

card stock:

• Azure Afternoon- 5 1/2 x 8 1/2"- score at 4 1/4" & fold in half for card base
• Azure Afternoon- 3" strip- die cut label
• Azure Afternoon- 1/4 x 2 3/4"
• Shy Shamrock- 4 x 5 1/4"
• Basic White- 2 3/4" strip- stamp bunny & die cut- color inside ears & nose with Petal Pink Stampin' Blend
• Basic White- 1" strip- stamp words onto & punch out using Three Banner Punch
• Basic White- 3 1/2 x 4 3/4"- for inside of card 

designer paper:  Easter Joy Specialty Paper

• 3 3/4 x 5"- diagonally cut both ways as shown in pattern above & FLIP both sides over so that they show the other side of the DSP. 
• I fussy cut the eggs with scissors directly from the DSP.

Cute As A Bug card

Here is another CUTE card using some adorable DSP.

These bugs just make me smile.

I hope they make you smile too!

 

I used the 

 #166994- Cute As A Bug Dsp= $12.50 Spring Mini pg. 43  

 

Check out the COOL NEW embossing folder too.

 #16699- Stone & Vine 3D Embossing Folder= $10.00 Spring Mini pg. 69

How did I do it? 

*I punched the center out of a piece of 3 x 3 1/2" Old Olive card stock,

using the 2 3/8" Circle Punch. 

*Then embossed this using the Stone & Vine 3D Embossing Folder.

*I punched out a 2 3/8" Basic White Circle & put into the center.

*Then fussy cut the leaves/berries/bugs/flowers directly from the DSP 

& put into the center of the card as shown.

Simple Saturday with Hobby Haven DSP

When I went to Stampin' Up! Leaders event last November

we did make & take projects one night.

I stamped & gathered the pieces, but I didn't have time to complete them.

So last night I decided I would see what I could create using these pieces.

And I totally changed & added to it- making it my own style. 

 

This is what the card was suppose to look like....but notice how I changed mine! 

I think it turned out super cute- what do you think?

 The piece I used is out of the center left side.

with the stamped images & the dies!
